Akhil's fascination with metal began while studying metallurgical engineering at Indus University. But FORCAST truly began when he returned home to Jamnagar and listened to foundry owners describe the casting defects costing them time, money, and confidence.

He visited foundry after foundry, carrying every unsolved problem back into years of experiments. By combining established metallurgical science with relentless testing, he began creating solutions the industry could not find off the shelf.

FORCAST was born in 2020: a name derived from “for casting,” and a promise to focus deeply on non-ferrous foundries working with brass, copper, aluminium, and bronze. Commercial operations began in 2021 with one purpose: build products around real problems, not generic assumptions.
